📖 Text: 2 Thessalonians 3:16
[16] Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. (2 Thessalonians 3:16 KJV)
#A HEAD 🧐
1. OBSERVATION (What do I see?)
– Context: This is the concluding verse of Paul’s second letter to the church of the Thessalonians.

2. What does it MEAN?
– the Lord of peace: He acknowledged God as the Lord of peace. Breathing in and breath out and say God is the Lord of peace, acknowledging the role, power and authority of God places us in a position where we allow the grace (peace) of God to flow through us. It places us in an agreement with God’s will to receive everything He has freely offered.
– himself: What would be mentioned here is done by God, it is coming from Him, it won’t be something that would be done by someone else but would be acclaimed to God; but God Himself at work, God’s power at work, a manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit and we would know it is God’s by its superior mature above all that tries to imitate it.
– Give you peace: This verse is a prayer, but it carries a peculiar tone. It doesn’t carry, “I beg you, I beseech you, I plead with you, Answer me one more time….” and the likes. Rather, He spoke like one that knew God was willing to give peace, and that God will definitely give them peace.
He spoke like someone that knew the will, the heart of God and acted in the same manner. God is willing to give peace, so God gave peace through Jesus Christ, He is waiting for you to receive His peace, even after believing in Christ, He wants you to draw peace from the Spirit and operate with the fruit of peace 24/7 (24hrs a day, 7days a week) forever.
– always: He left an emphasis in case we missed the superior quality of the peace of God, that it abides forever, God’s peace lasts forever, God’s peace is eternal in nature.
– by all means: Perhaps we consider our situation as peculiar, or can the peace of God really minister to me the way I am? He says, God would go through all means to ensure that you are able to live in peace and tranquility. In this is the love of God demonstrated, while we were yet sinners, He went through all means to save mankind even unto sacrificing Christ for us.
– The Lord be with you all: And here again, a reminder that the Lord always abides with us, He never leaves nor forsake, His never tired of me.
3. What stood Out/ What issue is God Raising with me Today?
God is willing to give peace, He has made the provision; He is waiting for me to be willing to receive it. As a believer in Christ, I have the fruit of peace through the Holy Spirit, the Lord wants me to receive by faith (for we walk by faith and not by sight). For I already have the fruit of peace dwelling within me.
#B HEART: What is my ATTITUDE ❤ (Checking my attitude against the issue raised) / (How does the understanding of this truth makes me feel?)
– What am I looking at to give peace?
° Stop looking at what the world says, look at what the word says, look at what God has promised, re-read it, meditate on it, repent and renew your mind with it, believe it and you have it. If you can believe it (have faith) all from the very beginning, it’s yours for the Father has given.

– I thank you Lord that you have granted me peace, you gave me a peace that last forever, and you go through all means to make it a reality. Thank you.
– I receive by faith and I pray that the eyes of my understanding is enlightened that I may be able to perceive and understand the mysteries in your word. (Amen)
– I thank you Lord, for you always answer you’ve never failed me one, thank you Lord for being there all the time.
