Popular Nigerian worship leader and Pastor, Nathaniel Bassey has officially declared the commencement of the second phase of the groundbreaking “Hallelujah Challenge” for this year. This transformative event is scheduled to commence on the 29th of September and will draw to a close on the 22nd of October 2023. Notably, this comes seven months after the first phase which was held in February.
Taking to social media to make the announcement, Nathaniel revealed that this second phase will end with a grand Hallelujah Festival. This momentous event is scheduled to be hosted at the prestigious Eko Hotel & Suites, situated in Lagos, on the 22nd of October, 2023. The occasion will be graced by the presence of revered and anointed music ministers, including Dunsin Oyekan, Victoria Orenze, and Ntokozo Mbambo, who will make guest appearances, lending their unparalleled talents to this remarkable event.

The inaugural Hallelujah Challenge commenced in June of 2017, spanning from the hours of midnight until 1 o’clock in the morning. This momentous event garnered participation from an impressive count exceeding 68,000 individuals, congregating via Instagram Live from various corners of the globe. The culmination of this challenge was marked by an esteemed occasion designated as “The Hallelujah Festival,” a resounding finale that unfolded within the vibrant confines of Lagos.
In the year 2021, Nathaniel Bassey unveiled the “Hallelujah Challenge Medley,” an extensive musical composition spanning a duration of 14 minutes. This composition masterfully amalgamates a collection of worship songs that have been recurrently featured throughout the Hallelujah Challenge sessions, many of which have now achieved anthem status resonating universally among diverse communities.
