Needs by Kirk Franklin is an edifying song. It starts with an exhortation to not listen to every voice, don’t let the world define what you need for you. I’ll say let God’s word define what you need; you need Jesus. Every material thing fades but what Jesus gives lasts forever, and it satisfies every part of your life. Having Jesus does give comfort and satisfaction, this is my personal testimony, Jesus is real to me.
