Jehovah Shammah is from Ezekiel 48:35 (yehôvâh shâmmâh) meaning “The LORD is there”.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV)
[18] But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
#A. HEAD 🧐
1. OBSERVATION (What do I see?)
– We all
– with open face
– beholding the glory of the Lord as in a glass
– are changed into the same image
– from glory to glory
– even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
2. What does it MEAN?
– We all – Paul is speaking here, and the “we” he is referring to include only those that believe in Christ, who has received life through the Spirit.
– With open face: Vs 14 already described the children of Israel as having a blinded mind as they read the law and the prophets; hence, an open face here refers to a heart that can perceive and comprehend the word of God; eyes that see and ears that hear, exactly the one Jesus called blessed in (Matthew 13: 16).
– beholding the glory of the Lord as in a glass: This continued to explain the contrast; they couldn’t look at the glory of the Lord that manifested in Moses, but now we can see it clearly without any hindrance. There is no longer for a veil to cover the glory of the Lord and likewise, anyone with an open face wouldn’t have any problem with beholding the glory of the Lord.
– are changed into the same image: He mentions that beholding the glory of the Lord transforms a man into the same image, we become like that Father as we behold His glory.
– from glory to glory: This now states it more clearly that the people being transformed here are not going from zero to glory; but they are already in glory to be able to behold the glory of the Lord with an open face. Hence, every man that believes in Christ, therefore received life by the Spirit has been changed to a glorious state. Then has we behold the glory of the Lord, every other thing that doesn’t conform to this state start to change; hence, the believer keeps becoming more glorious.
– even as by the Spirit of the Lord: The change that occurs in a believe from glory to glory is a function of the Spirit of the Lord; the Spirit of the Lord does the change; He causes the growth.
3. What stood Out/ What issue is God Raising with me Today?
– even as by the Spirit of the Lord: Yeah! as a believer I want from glory to glory every single second, I want to mortify 100% flesh in splits of seconds, but I must rely on the Spirit of the Lord. I must listen to Him, I must walk with Him, I must give Him 100% expression to be transformed by the words that He speaks to me, the same words that are Spirit and life.
#B. HEART: What is my ATTITUDE ❤ (Checking my attitude against the issue raised) / (How does the understanding of this truth makes me feel?)
– Do you believe you can see the glory of the Father?
– Are you aware that you have being seeing the glory of the Father?
– Do you see yourself glorious?
– We walk by faith and not by sight, immediately you believe it; the way you see changes, and you start to see yourself becoming more glorious every day.
– It’s not pride to say I am glorious; it is God that made me and called me glorious, so I am what God says I am.
#PRAYER 🙏
– Lord, I thank you for your word, I thank you for your grace and mercy. I thank you that even being fully aware that without you I can do nothing, you decide to sponsor me with you Spirit that I would be forever connected to you and be with you.
– I thank you because you are transforming everything that doesn’t look like you, I thank you that by your grace I walk according to the Spirit and mortify the deed of the flesh.
