It’s that time of the year again when believers from all around the world gather for an all-night worship and an incredible time in the presence of God. On Friday, December 8th, 2023, the 18th edition of the Experience concert, titled “The Experience 18,” was hosted by Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock church in Lagos. As has been the tradition, the concert was graced with the presence of several seasoned gospel artists from home and abroad. Some of the artists who ministered at the event include Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, Mercy Chinwo, Tope Alabi, Travis Greene, Ada Ehi, Dunsin Oyekan, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Tim Godfrey, Prinx Emmanuel, William McDowell and many others.
The annual Gospel Event was not only a time for singing and worship, but also a time for Christians to come together and pray for the nation. In addition, the event was filled with entertainment as a number of stand-up comedians were present to entertain the crowd.
The hosts of this year’s Experience concert were TV presenters Mojibade Sosanya and Morayo Afolabi Brown who set the tune of the night of worship. The event opened with a soul-lifting session of praise and worship which excited the crowd and made everyone worship God. The event was an all-night programme with ministrations from numerous gospel artists.
Ministering at The Experience for the first time was the popular Maverick City singer, Naomi Raine who captivated the audience with a soul-lifting worship session. She sang some popular Maverick City hits such as “He Won’t” and “Faithful”. The whole event can be watched on YouTube via this link.
