About Todd Dulaney
Todd Anthony Dulaney dedicated a significant portion of his life to pursuing a career in baseball, spending five years as a professional player. However, his true joy now comes from serving the Lord in every aspect of life. He is unwaveringly committed to God, with his focus set on ministry and fulfilling the divine purpose. Dulaney’s ultimate dream is to write music that resonates with God’s heart and touches the hearts of people, emphasizing the importance of delivering music that brings healing, restoration, and divine presence, rather than merely chasing popular trends.
Born on December 20, 1983, in Maywood, IL, Dulaney grew up with a passion for singing and excelled as an athlete. After graduating from high school in 2001, he was drafted by the New York Mets from Mt. Carmel Community College, IL, to pursue a professional baseball career. While honing his athletic abilities, Dulaney discovered a higher calling upon his life and accepted an invitation to provide background vocals for Grammy-winning gospel artist Smokie Norful.
Throughout his career, Dulaney has had the privilege of collaborating and sharing the stage with numerous acclaimed artists such as Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Jessica Reedy, Maurette Brown-Clark, Michelle Williams, Donnie McClurkin, Fred Hammond, Dr. Bobby Jones, Ernest Pugh, TRIN-I-TEE 5:7, Nicole and David Binion, Tye Tribett, and Donnie McClurkin, to name a few.
God has opened doors for Dulaney to minister through music in churches worldwide. He has appeared on various television programs, including BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel, TBN’s “Praise the Lord,” 15th Street Live, Atlanta Gospel Live, BBTV, TCT’s “I’m Just Sayin,” The 2011 Merge Summit, and received three nominations for the 2012 Stellar Awards second-round ballot. Additionally, he recently earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Gospel Album.
Currently, Dulaney is a dedicated member of Living Word Christian under the ministry of Dr. Bill Winston in Forest Park, IL. He is happily married to Kenyetta Stone-Dulaney, and his greatest source of pride and joy are his four beautiful children: Todd Jr., Taylor, Tyler, and Tenley.
Above all, Todd’s primary desire is to prioritize the message of Christ rather than promoting himself as an artist. He firmly believes that without the Christ of the Gospel, there would be no Gospel or Christian music.
